Day 154

Worked on the house all morning. Cohen helped until he was absolutely miserable from the heat. Then we ate lunch.




After lunch I cleaned and packed up some more stuff while Cohen napped.

My mom came over to play with Cohen and I went back to slaving in the sticky heat at the house. Until a massive thunderstorm came through and cooled things off just a bit. Almost there... Soo close...

Day 153

What a busy day. Went to Target with my mom this AM. And of course catastrophe Cohen struck again. Sometimes I wonder why I am so eager for a little number two. Ha.

Then we met daddy and Nana and PawPaw at Griffins for lunch. After lunch Scott wanted to go to cycle world to look at big boy toys so again I chased a toddlebee around keeping him off motorcycles and dirt bikes and 4-wheelers for over half an hour.






Shh... Don't tell anyone but I walked on the floor!



Appliances. Woot!

We went to cosmic bowling with everyone. Everyone else bowled while I chased Cohen around... For THREE hours!! He had a blast. I had the workout of the year.



I had to go close the windows later in the day and took a couple more snapshots.






Then we had steaks and hot dogs and BBQ beans and corn on the cob!!


Cohen devoured the whole thing!

Then I watched the three kids as they played in the exercise room on all the mats. Yeah, I'm pooped today.

Day 152

The tile is all done! Tomorrow they will come back and grout it all. Woot!!

Day 151

Cohen let me lie in bed all afternoon since I do not feel well. I think he gave me his stomach bug. And I credit his quick recovery time to still nursing. I just have to tough it out now.

On another note, the tile people started today. Yay!

Cohen puked all over me and the bed multiple times last night. And of course I had packed all our extra sheets so we couldn't change them in the night. He seemed fine all day.

I wish I were a good writer so I could have written a story about that. Ah well.

 I'm so bummed about these.  They turned white.  I think it's because of the salt I had put on them while they were wet.  It just is having delayed effects on them.  Boo.

Day 145

 Puppet show at the library.  Of course my child would make me go up in front of everyone right when the show starts to go get him.  Ha.  We didn't stay for the whole thing but enjoyed it all the same.

 Then we came home and had lunch and played with dry beans.  He thought it was so much fun flinging them across the house.  He even helped me sweep them up after.


After nap time we played outside and the kids were out there playing in the drizzle.  They made their way over to us and then we all went play in the puddles.

 Louisiana snow.  Heehee!

And then of course Cohen needed a bath since he was covered in flowers and tree dust.  And why not make it a neon green/yellow bath?!  Maybe a bad color choice on my part since it sorta looks like pee.  Ya know, the color of pee with too many vitamins?  Okay on that note, hope ya'll have a great weekend!!

Day 144

WE FOUND THE OLYMPUS!!! I'm so thrilled we found it!!  (Can you tell?!?)  It's our waterproof point and shoot.  EEEeee I'm so happy!!

Today when Cohen woke up from his nap we heard the kids swimming and decided to join.  Cohen doesn't really like the big pool but we still had fun.
