Monday Catch Up

So it's been waaayy too long.  Here's a house update:  The roof is on, and the bricks are *nearly* finished.  :)  Pretty much just the porches are left to be bricked.  Next on the outside will be all the vinyl stuff... gutters, facing, garage door casing.  Insulation is going up on the inside.  Although those guys haven't been back here for over a week so I don't know what the deal is.  ??  This picture is from a few days ago.  The little triangle is finished now.

Next week we go to Disney.  I'm excited and nervous.  It's gonna be lots of fun, but I think it's going to be very trying as well.  Only time will tell.

I turned 25.  That's right, I'm a quarter of a century old now.  It was all right.  The older I get, the younger I feel and the less I think I know.  Funny how that works, isn't it?

Cohen is walking!  Yaaaayyy!!  Okay, not quite ready to walk a 5k or anything, but he does opt to walk from couch to toy or person to person when it's only a few feet away.  So so so excited!! 

I'm going to again attempt photo a day.  Except this time I'm gonna go into it planning to shoot mainly Cohen.  I think before I was trying to shoot other stuff to have "good" photos and more of a variety.  But this time... expect to see lots of my babe.  Maybe the occasional cat or house photo.  So, here's today's photo.  Except it's two.  Because I couldn't decide on just one.

 Notice his red cheek?  Yeah, I'm a bad mama.  :(  We went to the parade yesterday (yes, it's Mardi Gras time already and even though I don't particularly care for it, we had quite a grand time yesterday I must say!), and I must have missed a spot on his cheek and nose when I put the sunscreen on. 

And this, well that's his most favorite bead from the parade.  Victoria actually gave it to him because we missed the one thrown to us and he REALLY wanted that bead.  She's so sweet to him.  And he's been chewing on that thing like it's real candy.  Haha!  I just close my eyes and wince when I think about it probably being made in China with funky paint.  >_<

Well, this has got me all chatty now!  :)  I've been meaning to post again for a while, and I look at that "Blogger: Dashboard" on my tabs menu often with intents on posting, but always shy away from it because I just know I'll probably just complain.  :)  So here's to a post with no complaining and a new start on photo a day!!
