Day 214

Cohen had his 18 month well baby visit today.  He's 29 pounds 13 ounces and nearly 35 inches tall. We're free and clear till he's 2!  :)

 We found an egret feather!  And drew with mud.

I finally hung some stuff on the wall!! Now to get our photos in the frames instead of all those strangers' faces. :P

I set up Cohen's play tent and tunnel today and he kept saying "tent tent" as I was setting it up. When I was finished he said, "oh, wooow!"



The last few days he's picked up on another new word and its meaning... Mess. Often now he'll see stuff on the ground and he'll say "ness". He also knows that when we sit in the Teryx to go ride that we need the "key" first.

In motion! We went to story time this evening so daddy could come. This is on the balcony at our library.

Cohen is 18 months old today!  A whole year and a half old!

The kids came over this afternoon after school and played in the sprinkler. And the mud. Lots and lots of mud.

Cohen slept till 10:00 today! He was up till 10:00 last night though. And again tonight. I may wake him up tomorrow. He's talking so much these days. Still usually just one word phrases but sometimes two words. We have to sing the choo-choo song from storytime every night. It evolves often and the latest version includes replacing words with chomping, gobbling sounds. He laughs and laughs.

Dollar Tree sponges are fun! I cut them up and Cohen kept handing them to me to cut "more". He kept signing and saying "more".

Day 203

Worked on building a fun game today... will post photos once it's complete.  Also finished filling in the hole by the front porch and started getting things ready to set our big fish tank back up.  I'd type more but Cohen is all snuggled up to me and one hand typing is hard.
